Armed with a decade of experience, Studio PM was formed out of a desire to generate novel spatial design solutions through rigorous investigation of ideas and collaborative work ethics. Offering a wide variety of services we strive towards being non-stylistic and pragmatic while creating varied, original and innovative design. Always looking ahead, we have created today what we believe will shape tomorrow.
Studio PM has completed several projects in the hospitality, residential, commercial and retail sector out of its industrial unit in Vile Parle, Mumbai. Our practice centers on a vibrant team environment. Through conversation, problem solving and collaboration we bring diverse voices and perspectives to the design process, expanding possibilities and creating value for clients. Through this collaborative approach we have successfully delivered projects in a broad range of sectors and scales. The team of young, energetic architects, interior and graphic designers is led by architect Priyank Mehta, who strongly advocates using the design process as a tool to provide original and radical design solutions. Backed by ten years of experience in the field, he ensures the final product always matches the larger design intent.
The team takes immense pride in their ability to go beyond the general look and feel while working on any project. The entire process is always driven by an idea that addresses a larger role, the designs need to play, not only for the client’s immediate needs but also for research and innovation in the subject itself. Refusing to get old, the studio approaches any challenge with unmatched eagerness and energy. Never looking for a perfect image, rather a fuller experience.
ABOUT PRIYANK MEHTA
The simple thought that simplicity is more complex to achieve, provides great insight into the mind and design sense of Priyank Mehta. Although a firm believer in ‘less is more’; his eye for intricate design detail ensures that every project is handled with the utmost of care and professionalism.
Absorbing all the sights and nuisances of culture on his travels, he weaves these elements into his designs. He began his architectural journey in 2008 by receiving his Bachelors from Academy of Architecture, Rachna Sansad and subsequently his Masters in Architecture from Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow school of arts, UK in 2010. Beginning his venture into entrepreneurship, he Co-Founded SEAD (Studio For Environment, Architecture and Design) in 2011 and Studio PM in late 2017.
